"Found an absolute sweet spot for a laid-back afternoon! The Coffee Dock is a fantastic little lakeside escape with a great rustic setup, hidden right against the backdrop of a bustling highway bridge. Masak Lemak Cili Api Pasta: The flavor profile is spot on. It delivers a proper, fiery chili padi kick balanced with a rich, aromatic, and creamy santan base without feeling too jelak. It's loaded with cherry tomatoes, eryngii mushroom pieces, and two prawns (one was perfectly fresh, the other had seen better days but was still edible). If they somehow managed to inject a bit of smokiness into this, it would be completely out of this world! Creme Tepung Pelita Latte: A brilliant local twist on a pandan latte with foam. The coffee itself has a great roast that synergizes beautifully with the pandan flavors. It’s not overly sweet, and the pandan foam on top is a great touch. Highly recommended. The service here is super friendly and welcoming. It's an over-the-counter, self-serve setup where they explain the menu nicely and call out your name for pickup. They were even sweet enough to let my son, Isaac, have a quick, fun tour of the kitchen. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful. You can just sit back by the lily pads and watch the local fauna—we saw monitor lizards swimming, birds snapping at small fish, and a lone egret catching a break. Restrooms: They've been here for 2 years, but due to local permit restrictions, there are no built toilets on-site yet. The staff are incredibly helpful and will gladly give you tips on where to find the nearest public toilet break nearby. Incredible view of the greenery, but once it hits later in the evening, it quickly turns into a mosquito buffet serving time! Bring bug spray if you’re hanging around for the sunset. Highly recommend stopping by for the great views and excellent fusion local flavors."

"I really loved the vibe of this place. It’s right next to a lake, and you can even go fishing here, which made the experience extra special. The food was really good! I’m Indian and was looking for vegetarian food after fishing, and I came here with my family. I requested a pasta masak cili api without meat, and they kindly prepared it exactly as requested—the taste was amazing! The nachos had perfectly burnt cheese with a smoky flavour—OMG, it was so good. We also ordered the creamy tomyam pasta, fully vegetarian, and it was absolutely A+. Definitely a place I’d come back to 🤍 Thank you preparing meatless food for us ❤️"

"The Coffee Dock, Nice Spot by the Lake A peaceful place by the lake with a great view. The food is really good, especially the laksa and mee kari, both were tasty and satisfying. A nice spot to relax and enjoy a meal by nature. Spray your mosquito repellent prior coming at night."

"The food was excellent even though i ordered bungkus (forgot to take a picture of it cuz it was so good) the service was excellent. Would come again sometime in the future. I ordered the nachos and the portion was satisfying with two tubs of sauces in case the sauce they put inside was not enough (or maybe they're for dipping the chips?)"

"Seating is limited, first come first serve no reservation allowed. Its best to come with at least 2person so one person can grab a seat, another queue to order. Order at counter, when food is ready they will call your name to collect. Matcha Latte (rm12); decent. Double Chocolate (rm11); decent. Nasi Lemak Packet (rm4); sambal taste so so. Laksa (rm8); noodle soggy/soft, gravy watery but taste decent. Kerabu Maggi (rm12); sotong icky stuff not cleaned, texture lam piat piat when i bite into it (so gross). taste of maggi is interesting. They serve with plastic cutleries/container. Considering the lack of proper place for cleaning and cheap prices, i guess it make sense to use plastic. If you're lucky, you get to watch the locals catching fish. Do come on a clear/non rainy day. It was raining earlier, we arrived around 6pm and it was muddy. You need to becareful walking down to the cafe as it can be slippery."
